Happy Birthday April 2026 and A Few Screen Printing Tips From Amdec Inc.
Is it your birthday month? Let us know and we will do a birthday shout out on our social media channels!
Happy Birthday, April 2026! 🎉 + Screen Printing Tips for Containers from AMDEC Inc.
April is a time of growth, fresh ideas, and new opportunities—so first, happy birthday to everyone celebrating this month! 🌸 As businesses gear up for spring and summer production cycles, it’s also the perfect time to think about how your packaging can stand out on the shelf.
At AMDEC Inc., we specialize in screen printing on containers of all shapes and sizes—from small tubes to large industrial containers—across materials like plastics and glass. If your product needs to make a strong, lasting impression, high-quality container printing is key.
🧴 Why Screen Printing on Containers Matters
Your packaging is often the first interaction customers have with your brand. Whether it’s a cosmetic tube, a glass bottle, or a plastic container, screen printing offers:
- Durability – Ink adheres directly to the surface for long-lasting results
- Vibrant colors – Bold, eye-catching designs that don’t fade easily
- Versatility – Works on curved, flat, large, or small surfaces
- Professional branding – A clean, polished look that elevates your product
From industrial containers to consumer packaging, screen printing ensures your brand looks consistent and high-quality.
🏭 Screen Printing Tips for Containers (Plastic, Glass & Tubes)
Here are some expert tips to help you get the best results when printing on containers:
1. Understand Your Material
Different materials require different approaches:
- Plastics may need surface treatment (like flame or corona) for proper ink adhesion
- Glass offers a smooth surface but may require specialized inks for durability
- Tubes (cosmetic or industrial) often require precision printing due to their shape
Choosing the right ink and prep process is critical.
2. Prioritize Ink Adhesion
Ink adhesion is everything when printing on containers. Poor adhesion can lead to peeling or fading. Make sure:
- The surface is clean and properly treated
- The correct ink system is used for the material
- Curing processes are properly followed
3. Design for Curved Surfaces
Unlike flat apparel, containers often have curves or irregular shapes. Keep designs:
- Simple and readable
- Properly scaled to fit the container
- Positioned to avoid distortion
Wraparound designs should be carefully planned to align perfectly.
4. Consider Container Size & Print Area
From small tubes to large containers, sizing matters:
- Small containers require precision and fine detail control
- Large containers allow for bolder branding and larger graphics
Always match your design to the available print area.
5. Choose the Right Colors
Color contrast is especially important on containers:
- Light inks may need an underbase on dark plastics
- Transparent or tinted containers can affect how colors appear
- Consistency across batches is key for brand integrity
6. Test Before Full Production
Running a sample before full production helps ensure:
- Proper ink adhesion
- Accurate color matching
- Correct placement on the container
This step can save time and cost in the long run.
🚀 Elevate Your Packaging This Spring
April is the perfect time to refresh your product packaging and branding strategy. Whether you’re launching a new product or improving an existing one, custom screen printing on containers can help you:
- Stand out on retail shelves
- Reinforce brand recognition
- Deliver a premium customer experience
- Improve product durability and labeling longevity

🖨️ Spring into New Screen Printing Tips
As we transition into March, here are a few helpful reminders and screen printing tips to keep your projects efficient and your prints exceptional:
1. Keep Artwork Crisp and Ready
Start with clean, high-resolution artwork in vector formats like AI or EPS. This helps ensure sharp prints and reduces surprises during setup.
2. Choose the Right Ink for the Job
Whether it’s standard plastisol or specialty inks like metallic or UV-cure, selecting the proper ink can make a big difference in durability and appearance.
3. Balance Colors Efficiently
Fewer colors can reduce costs and setup time — but when multiple hues are needed, plan for proper separations and registration.
4. Think Beyond the Print
Consider finishing touches like varnishes or coatings if your design calls for protection or visual enhancement — especially on retail packaging.
Got questions about your next screen printing project? Reach out — we’re always happy to help you fine-tune your designs for the best possible result.
